Princess Tatiana of Greece Embraces New Beginnings Amid Prince Nikolaos’ Upcoming Wedding

Princess Tatiana of Greece is stepping into a new chapter of her life with gratitude and resilience, just days before her ex-husband, Prince Nikolaos, prepares to remarry.

Tatiana, 44, recently relocated to the southern outskirts of Athens, marking a fresh start following her split from Nikolaos, 55, less than a year ago. The Greek royal couple announced their amicable divorce in April 2024 after 14 years of marriage. As the former princess settles into her new home, she took to Instagram to express appreciation for the unwavering support of her mother, Marie Blatnik.

"Thank you to the most amazing mamasita for helping me move in less than 48 hours," Tatiana shared in an Instagram Story, accompanied by a heartfelt photo of the mother-daughter duo embracing. "U R unreal! Finishing with my favourite: filling up the kitchen with local produce from the Friday Manaviko – pure happiness and love. Te adoro! Gracias."

The move comes amid news that Prince Nikolaos is set to marry Chrysí Vardinogianni in a private ceremony on February 7. His engagement was confirmed on January 22, according to Hello! and HOLA!

Tatiana, born Tatiana Blatnik in Venezuela, married Prince Nikolaos in August 2010 in a grand ceremony at the Cathedral of Ayios Nikolaos on the Greek island of Spetses. Their wedding was attended by European royals, including members of the British and Spanish royal families. Despite being part of Greece’s former monarchy—abolished in 1973—the couple remained prominent figures in Greek society, living in Athens while pursuing private careers. Nikolaos focused on photography, while Tatiana dedicated herself to social impact initiatives.

Since their separation, Tatiana has spoken candidly about her journey of self-discovery. In a reflective Instagram post on January 6, she described 2024 as a "year of transformation."

"Last year was a year of transformation for me, filled with changes that challenged me to grow, to learn, and to rebuild a life that truly reflects who I am," she wrote. "There were times I felt caught between identities, navigating a limbo of self-discovery. Yet, in those moments, I found clarity. By embracing my true self, I uncovered a new strength."

Tatiana remains in Greece, a place she and Nikolaos once called home together, as she continues to redefine her path. Despite the royal family no longer holding legal status in the country, the former couple has remained deeply connected to Greece, with Tatiana actively engaged in philanthropic work.

While Nikolaos prepares for his next chapter, Tatiana is embracing the support of loved ones and the excitement of a new beginning. As she moves forward, her journey reflects resilience, independence, and the power of transformation.
