Hailee Steinfeld is full of admiration for her fiancé, Josh Allen, after his impressive 2024/2025 NFL season with the Buffalo Bills.

“To say the least, I am so proud of that man and everything he’s done and everything that team has done together,” the Pitch Perfect star, 28, told E! News on Tuesday, January 28. “He is the hardest working person I know.”

Allen, also 28, achieved a major milestone this season by surpassing Russell Wilson for the most regular-season wins by a quarterback in their first seven NFL seasons, with a total of 76. He also led the Bills to the AFC Championship, though their journey ended in a close game against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs will face the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, February 9.

While Allen’s team won’t be competing in the Super Bowl, Steinfeld will still have a moment in the spotlight. She’s set to appear in her first-ever Super Bowl commercial, an empowering breast cancer awareness campaign for Novartis. “It’s going to reach so many people,” she shared. “Just knowing that it’s so empowering to know your body and know your risk, I’m really honored to be a part of this.”

Steinfeld and Allen first sparked dating rumors in May 2023, shortly after Allen’s split from his longtime girlfriend, Brittany Williams. “Hailee and Josh have been together for about a month, and it’s going really great,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in June 2023. “Josh is the first guy in a while she’s been really interested in.”

The couple kept their romance relatively low-key until July 2024, when Allen posted a carousel of Instagram photos, some of which featured Steinfeld, captioned, “Onward 🤘🏼.” Steinfeld returned the favor that October by sharing snaps of the two dressed as matching ringmasters at their circus-themed Halloween party, which they hosted for Allen’s Bills teammates and their significant others.

Allen proposed to Steinfeld on November 22, 2024, in a romantic seaside setting, complete with a floral arch, candles, and an ocean backdrop. The couple announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post, captioning the moment, “♾️ 11•22•24 ♾️.”

In a December edition of Steinfeld’s Beau Society newsletter, Allen detailed the proposal. “I said, ‘I couldn’t wait any longer.’ I said, ‘I can’t wait to start a family with you.’ I said your full name, and I asked you very nicely. I said ‘please,’” he shared.

As Allen continues to make waves in the NFL and Steinfeld prepares for her big Super Bowl debut, the couple is clearly thriving both personally and professionally—and looking forward to their future together.
